Our services in the United States target communities of new immigrants of African and other cultural background origin resident in the Washington DC metropolitan area. Our immersion program is an integrated program designed to mitigate the impact of the cultural shock experienced by African immigrants — children, teenagers and adults — relocating to the United States. The goal of the program is to provide opportunity for beneficiaries to understand and appreciate the difference between their home and host cultures, and enable them to develop knowledge, skills and ethic for the new social, educational and work environments.
