To address a crisis of minor abuse and underage mothers that arose in the wake of civil conflict in Cameroon, Nascent mobilized it’s individual donor family into action. Individual donations totaling $15,000 helped Nascent render direct aid to underage mothers in the form of diapers, baby food, water filters and cash outlays. Nascent field teams, further engaged in sensitization campaigns, including radio messages and workshops with community leaders to raise awareness and device strategies to protect women and girls.
